Horizon's ninth release comes to you in the form of a deep, soulful house cut that oozes summer vibes from a potentially unexpected source, MarX.

Having previously released some more experimental Drum & Bass ventures on Horizon, and with the majority of his production to date being focused around the genre to reasonable success, especially when you consider the D&B Arena No.1 he had back in 2013 as well as gaining excellent peer support around the majority of his other releases too. This however only enhances my belief in the fantastic versatility of this young Jersey based producer as he expertly turns his hand to the House scene as if he had been making it for years.

True Emotion uses flowing synths and pads to ease the song in and out, these are coupled beautifully by chops of old, soulful Smokey Robinson vocals to keep you gripped while effortless drum rhythms, fills and breaks skip along in the background to give the track further dynamic range and depth.

With Summer about to hit full swing, this is the perfect way for MarX and Horizon to announce that they are more than up for joining the party over the coming months.
