Travelling Rhythms is a 3 track EP which blends progressive, electronica, bass music with nuances of jazz, ambient and breaks.

Body Politic showcases Ben's love for loops, repetition and sampling. A progressive and uplifting piece, driven by rolling drum breaks, world percussion and a smooth bass line. The track progresses with the addition of strings and a change of groove before bursting into a half time section of gnarly bass synths and aggressive drums. This is again contrasted by a refrain which draws the focus back to the original groove.

Eyes Wide Open is the ﬁrst relief point of the record, taking the listener into a more mellow and relaxing atmosphere. Enticing foley blends with an off kilter looped guitar before building to a crest of horns, smooth brushed drums and synths.

Guava closes the EP with a progressive arrangement of driving bass, drum rhythms and intrinsically linked samples and melodies. The track then ﬂows seamlessly into arpeggiated 80s style Sci-Fi synths as it returns to the hook of drums, bass and vocal samples.
